baby geckos

A few weeks ago my dad and I found two baby geckos! We named them Speedy and Gonzales. One time Speedy climbed on my head! I love baby geckos.

 

The Lost Tablet

Last week we did a fall break play called The Lost Tablet. You know the one I talked about in the other post. I was Artemis. I got to sing a solo. It was Blue Moon. I had so much fun. And next year, when I am too old to be in the play, I will be able to write some of the script. It will be awesome!

Ballet class

We started ballet classes yesterday. We did turns, jumps, plies, and stood on our toes. It was fun. And later when we get good at the ballet we are going to do some jazz. It will be fun.

Fall play

Last year we did a fall play. It was Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis. It was fun. I was a pirate. This year we are doing an other one. This one is a made up one where kids are getting tablets for the Greek gods. It's going to be fun.      

hawaii anniversary

A few days ago we celebrated our hawaii anniversary. We have lived here for two years. so to celebrate it we went to the shrimp truck and bought a chocolate haupia pie to eat on the beach.

our play

This summer we did a play with our  friends. It was called Everyone's a Winner. We love to do plays and we have done a lot.  It's so much fun.                                       

gymnastics

This year we did gymnastics. It was really fun. And we did a show. We did a little routine to music and did stuff on the balance beam.  It was so much fun and we even got medals. 

our summer vacation

On our summer vacation we went lots of places. We went to Ohio, Florida, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and, New York. It was so much fun. We were on vacation for a month. I got to see family, and cities that I had never seen before.

Jeni's splendid ice cream

Today I went to Jeni's splendid ice cream in Ohio. It was delicious. For a small you get two scoops. I got the milkiest chocolate in the world and salty caramel. It was so yummy. It really was splendid ice cream.

Seurat puzzle

My mom, my sisters, and I did a puzzle. It was a Seurat painting. It took us along time because it had 1000 pieces. But it was still fun.

Saving pandas club

I set up a saving pandas club for my friends and me to do. We sold stuff to save the pandas, like lemonade, cookies, brownies, and silly bandz. In these pictures we are selling silly bandz. :)

choir

My sisters and I are doing choir. It's really fun. We are singing Disney songs. We have songs like "Be our Guest" and "Under the Sea" We have so much fun with our choir. :) 

guinea pig party

One time I went to my friend's house and I brought my guinea pig, Gigi, to play with her guinea pigs, Dixie and Trixie. Then my other friends came with their guinea pigs, Brownie and Oreo. It was a guinea pig party! There were five guinea pigs. All girls, of course. Some time we should have a guinea pig party again. :)  

gymnastics

In February, I started gymnastics. It's really fun. I am working on a back walkover. There are lots of things we do, like cart wheels, one handed cart wheels, fast forward rolls, backward rolls, round offs, and more. It's so fun to be in gymnastics with my friends.

tsunami day

One time there was an earthquake  in Chile. And it cause a tsunami that was coming to the islands of Hawaii where we live. And so we got our seventy two hour kits and climbed a mountain. But the tsunami didn't end up hitting us. But we had a lot of fun playing on the mountain.  

kittens

My friends and I love to go to the kitty house. It's just down the street from us. The mom just had kittens. There are five that we know of. There are two black ones. We named them Ebony and Charcoal. The orange one is Pumpkin.  There are two black and white ones. They are Oreo and Creampuff. They are so cute and they have a big sister named Samy. I love the kittens. They are so cute.

When my grandma and grandpa visited last year we went to Sea Life Park. We saw sea lions, penguins, sting rays, sharks, and more. Those were all fun to see, but my favorite was seeing the dolphin show. It was awesome. They did all kinds of tricks. It's too bad we did not have the money to swim with them.

octopus

One time my dad caught an octopus. When he brought it home, I thought "yuck that will be gross." That night my dad made it for dinner. I was so scared to try it but then I did and it was awesome. It was a lot better than I expected it to be.

bacon ice cream

One time I made bacon ice cream with my dad. It was really fun, but a lot of hard work, too. First we had to candy the bacon. To do that, we put the bacon strips on a cooking sheet and sprinkle them with brown sugar. Then I separated the eggs. We only used the yolks. We mixed the cream and butter in a hot pan. After that we mixed and mixed and mixed the eggs until they had turned a lighter yellow. Then we slowly poured  the eggs in the cream and butter mixture. Eventually we put the mixture in the ice cream maker. And then when it got thicker, we cut the candied bacon in pieces. After that we put it in the ice cream. It was really good. And the awesome thing about it was that it was homemade.
